Collaborative Research Network

The Collaborative Research Network: Bilingual and Welsh Language Education is one of four research networks established in 2021 between Welsh universities with the support of the Welsh Government with the aim of increasing research capacity in education. The network is led by Professor Elin Haf Gruffydd Jones, and its membership includes established, mid-career and early career researchers as well as doctoral students from the eight Welsh universities and the Open University in Wales. The other three networks are Curriculum and Pedagogy (lead: Professor Gary Beauchamp), Equity and Inclusion (lead: Dr Sarah Stewart), Leadership and Professional Development (lead: Dr Jeremy Griffiths) 

The CRN’s work programme includes lectures, seminars and workshops to strengthen international links and with the education sector in Wales; collaborative research projects; and joint academic publications.
