How do I log in to the Online Library?
You have two log in options when accessing the Online Library resources:
- Click on the MyWales log in button that appears in the horizontal menu bar at the top right of every screen:
If you log in this way, you will be able to access all Online Library resources, including the ones that we subscribe to. A guide to logging in to MyWales can be viewed here: How to Login to myWales.
- Or you can go to the Online Library homepage, find your subject in the subject menu to the left of the screen and find a resource you wish to view by clicking on the eBooks, Databases, eJournals or Other tab. When you click on the title of a resource you want to view, you will be asked to enter your username and password if it is a subscription resource like a database, ebook or ejournal.
When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to change your password from the temporary password in your “Welcome Email”. You will also be asked to enter a Google username which will enable you to use Google Applications and to set up a Google myWales email address.
