The Dylan Thomas Centre, in Swansea’s Maritime Quarter, is one of the city’s most iconic buildings. Opened in 1825, it has a rich and varied history with the building serving as a venue for differing purposes including the town guildhall, a juvenile employment centre, and college of further education.

With the University of Wales taking over the lease of the building in 2011, it has significantly invested in renovations at the Centre, restoring it to its former glory. With the University’s investment in the Centre, the Dylan Thomas Centre is now a multi-purpose venue open to host a range of events and functions.

As part of these exciting developments, this coming Mother’s Day (Sunday the 15th of March), the Dylan Thomas Centre will be hosting a beautifully prepared traditional Sunday lunch for the whole family to enjoy. Held in the characterful and charming Grade 2* listed Function Room, it will be a wonderful occasion to take your Mum out and show your appreciation by treating her to a delicious meal.

Served from 12.00pm – 3.00pm, the 2 or 3 course lunch starts from £11.95 per person.
