Following the announcement that the governing bodies of the University of Wales: Trinity Saint David, Swansea Metropolitan University, and the University of Wales have decided to merge, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has graciously agreed to serve as Royal Patron of the new University created as a result of the merger.
