Geiradur Prifysgol Cymru

You are welcome to join the Friends of Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru at the National Eisteddfod in Llanrwst to hear the Dictionary’s Editor, Andrew Hawke, introduce the President of the Friends (and the new Archdruid) Myrddin ap Dafydd speak about the dialect and sayings of the Conwy Valley.

Also addressing the Friends will be the Dictionary’s Senior Editors.

Angharad Fychan will discuss some of the new words published in the Dictionary over the last twelve months, and Ann Parry Owen will speak of John Jones Gellilyfdy’s fishy glossary. Intrigued by the ‘fishy glossary’? Then come along to the UWTSD stand (no. 321-324) at 2 pm on Wednesday, 7 August to find out more!

Everybody is welcome – you do not have to be a member of the Friends, but there will be an opportunity to join should you wish to do so.
