In collaboration with the London 2012 Olympic Games, an exciting opportunity has arisen for alumni of the University.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Ltd (LOCOG) are searching for brand new presenting talent for the live venues at this year’s Olympic Games. Working with a production team, the presenter’s role will be to entertain and inform the public before, after and during events, interview sportsmen and women and introduce the action.
For the biggest events, LOCOG are planning to work with well-known names, but they’d also like to give young and talented new presenters an opportunity to get involved as well.
People should have some broadcasting or live presenting experience, or have an interest in one of the following sports: Badminton, Diving, Fencing, Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampoline Gymnastics, Marathon running, Swimming, Synchronised Swimming, Taekwondo, Triathlon, Water Polo or Weightlifting.
Budding presenters who think they have the personality to carry out this exciting opportunity are invited to contact the LOCOG team now to find out more information. They are currently meeting people on an on-going basis and would encourage anyone to get in touch as soon as possible in order to be considered.
