Next month, the Welsh Office in Washington, DC, which is housed within the British Embassy, is organising the visit of a Welsh Government VIP to Washington.
As part of the visit, they are organising a reception at the British Embassy and would like to invite any University of Wales Alumni who studied within Wales, and live in the greater Washington DC area, to attend.

This event is part of a new programme which aims to reachout to UK University alumni in the United States, and in this case those alumni with a welsh connection.
UK Alumni in the US are an important part of the UK-US relationship, and the British Embassy wants to do more to engage with them, including invitations to events at the Embassy and Consulates around the US.
If you live in the US and are interested in finding out more about events in your area, the British Embassy has set up a link where Alumni can complete a form and be notified of appropriate and local events.
