Dear Colleague

Revised guidelines for the registration of students with the University of Wales for academic session 2010/11 are now available at: http://www.wales.ac.uk/en/Institutions/InformationforCollaborativeCentres/StudentRegistration/StudentRegistration.aspx|.

There are no changes to the requirements for the registration transfer this year however the guidelines have been revised to give you additional information to assist with uploading registration transfers. Please can you ensure that all registrations are uploaded within 1 month of the date of intake. Failure to do so will result in delays in your students access to the University of Wales Online Library.

The Credit Transfer Claim Form has been extensively revised. The application now requires additional information in the comparison grid to include information on learning outcomes and the inclusion of a course document of prior study. We request that the mapping of all credit transfer be undertaken by an academic member of staff such as the course leader, the mapping should not be carried out by an administrator.
