Annual College and Course Review request
Dear Colleague,
We are writing to let you know that the Annual College and Course Review (ACCR) template is now available for you to begin preparing your ACCR submission for the academic session 2009/10.
You will find the new template in a number of sources:
Attached to an email sent to your collaborative centre main contact
Available on our new dedicated ACCR webpage (http://www.wales.ac.uk/en/Institutions/InformationforCollaborativeCentres/AnnualCollegeandCourseReview.aspx|); and
Appendix 44 in the 2010/11 QA Handbook.
Please Note:
A number of significant changes and revisions have been made to the template which we will highlight below.
It is therefore critical that you use this template as the basis for your ACCR submission. ACCRs not completed using this template or completed using old or alternative formats, will not accepted.
Changes for 2010/11
1. Guidelines
We have produced a set of guidelines to help you engage with the ACCR process and to fully complete the ACCR. We have attached the guidelines to this email and they are also available on our website and in the 2010/11 handbook (Appendix 45). You are required to read these guidelines before you attempt to complete your ACCR.
2. New Sections:
We have added several new sections to the ACCR template. These are listed below:
Section 1: Scheme & Centre information
Section 2: Process by which ACCR was completed
Section 9: Unfair Practice, Complaints & Appeals
Section 13: Equality & Diversity
Section 15: Confirmation
3. Supporting Documentation:
Please note section D of the guidelines on the conventions to be followed when naming the supporting documents.
Submitting your ACCR and Deadline
Due to the technical difficulties that were experienced during the last year, we have decided to accept hard copy ACCR submissions, accompanied by an electronic copy on CD or USB. We cannot accept these documents by email; those submitted by email will not be logged and you will be asked to re-submit in the format specified.
You are requested to send two copies of your ACCR and supporting documents to the following address. All reports must be with the Validation Unit by no later than Monday 1st November 2010:
