What is a University of Wales validated programme?

Answer:
This means that an Institution has designed a course, for which it has full responsibility for teaching, which has been approved by the University as of an appropriate quality and standard to lead to a University of Wales award.

Where do I find information about a course such as entry requirements, content, duration and fee?

You must contact the Institution which delivers the course you are interested in joining

Can the University help with my visa application?

Answer:
The Institution that delivers the course you are interested in joining is responsible for all visa matters. For more information see the UK Border Agency website|

I am registered on a validated scheme of study, how do I access the Online Library?

Answer:

Once we have received your registration details (including your email address) from your institution, you will receive a welcome email from us which will contain your username (your email address) and password to use the Online Library.

Can I attend a graduation celebration in Wales?

Answer:
Yes, if your final result has been confirmed by a University of Wales Examining Board at least one month before the annual event, you should be able to attend a graduation celebration in Wales. Information on how to register for the event will be sent to your Institution and will be available on our website

I've lost/damaged my degree certificate, can I get another?

Answer:
Yes. If your certificate is damaged we will issue a replacement free of charge on receipt of the damaged original. A fee of £25 will apply to replace lost certificates.

I've successfully completed my studies but I haven't received my certificate, what do I do?

Answer:
You should contact the Institution that delivered your course

I need a Diploma Supplement/transcript of my studies, who do I ask?

Answer:
If you have successfully completed a validated scheme you will automtically receive a Diploma Supplement with your certificate. See our Diploma Supplement|  web page for more information.

I want to make a formal complaint to the University of Wales about some of my experiences of studying on a validated scheme, what is the procedure?

Answer:
Students on validated schemes may make a complaint to the University in accordance with the Student Complaints Procedure| where efforts to solve the problem through mechanisms in place at your Institution have been exhausted
