Entrance Scholarships

Eligibility

  •  based on results of the Entrance Scholarships Examination held Aberystwyth University
  •  candidate must pursue a scheme of study for an initial degree in Arts or in Science of the University of Wales at Aberystwyth University,
  •  a student who has already entered upon a scheme of study for a degree in the University shall not be eligible for candidature.

 

Amount

  •  Annual value of £400,
  •  tenable for three years,
  •  possible renewal for a fourth year

Postgraduate Scholarships

Eligibility

  •  candidate who, in the opinion of the Senate of the Bangor University, is the most meritorious on the grounds of their performance in the degree examinations of the University of Wales,
  •  candidate must pursue a scheme of study for a postgraduate degree in Arts or in Science of the University of Wales at Bangor University.

Amount

  •  same value as a University Postgraduate Studentship.
  •  tenable for one academic year
  •  but may be renewed for a second and third academic year.
