Nantlle Valley Scholarship

 

Purpose

  •  to receive an award from this fund to assist in his education

Eligibility

  •  must be a Welsh widow’s son
  •  who, at the age of sixteen, was resident in the Nantlle Valley, Caernarvonshire,
  •  the award may only be received during the period the applicant is a student in the University of Wales, engaged in undergraduate or postgraduate studies.

Award

For the purchase of:

  •  books
  •  scientific equipment
  •  or for educational travel.

An application for a scholarship or for a grant towards maintenance will be considered from a student or prospective student not in receipt of a scholarship or other form of maintenance award.
