Lord Merthyr Research Scholarship

 

  Purpose

  •  to promote research in Cancer in the Cardiff University School of Medicine.

Eligibility

  •  based on the recommendation of the School of Medicine
  •  supervisor may recommend that recipient spend a portion of the time in any other medical or scientific institution or in investigating the subject of research elsewhere.

Amount

  •  value of MRC and SERC Scholarships
  •  tenable for one year
  •  possibility of extension for a second or third year
  •  recipient shall submit a detailed report of their work to their supervisor, who shall forward it, with comments, for the consideration of the University
  •  all publications shall clearly state that the work was made possible by the Lord Merthyr Research Scholarship.
