Scholarship

Eligibility

Student of the University who:

•  has obtained Honours
•  proposes to proceed to a further course of study or scheme of research in Classics, Greek or Latin.

Amount

•  annual value to be determined
•  can be held for two years, subject to satisfactory report from the institution.
•  in exceptional cases the University may renew scholarship for a further period.

Grants

Eligibility

•  has obtained Honours,
•  proposes to proceed to a further course of study or scheme of research in Classics, Greek or Latin.
•  is unable to secure adequate financial support from other sources.

Purpose

To assist students:

•  to visit museums and archaeological sites
•  to attend vacation courses in this country or abroad in connection with the study of Classics, Greek or Latin.

Application

• To apply for this grant click here before 1 February.
• 75% of the value of the Grant will be paid in advance, the remaining 25% being paid upon submission of a satisfactory report by the holder.
