Westlaw UK| recently launched Prospective Law, a new enhancement to the Legislation service.
Prospective Law enables you to see how Acts and SIs will look in the future without the need to cross-reference amending provisions. This allows you to see how the law is due to change, when it is due to change, and what impact it may have on the way you work.
1,500 consolidated versions of prospective law will be available to view for Acts from 2004 onwards. Key pre-2004 Acts will also have prospective versions available and the remaining will be applied on an ongoing basis.
When you search Legislation in Westlaw UK, an icon will appear next to each result that indicates the status of the legislation.
The advanced search option also gives you the option to limit your results to prospective law.
