Joint Board of Studies

The University of Wales considers the Joint Board of Studies a key meeting in the annual monitoring process and an excellent opportunity for face-to-face discussion between the course team, moderator, external expert (for Health Studies programmes) and external examiners to consider (in particular) the Annual College and Course Review (ACCR) from the previous academic session.

It is also an excellent forum for general discussion, an opportunity to reflect on progress made, share best practice and experiences as well as discuss and approve amendments to the scheme(s).

Boards of Studies will meet at least once per annum. Wherever possible, meetings will be arranged to coincide with the examining board to ensure maximum attendance from all parties.
