Induction Procedure

Following formal appointment to the post of moderator; you will need to be inducted into the role. If you are in post for the first time, or are an inexperienced moderator, you will be invited to an introductory session with the relevant Dean of the Academic Faculty and staff within the Validation Unit. All new moderators will also be invited to attend one of the induction events for new moderators and external examiners.

If you are an experienced moderator, you will be provided with relevant information in relation to the programme and invited for a bespoke induction session with the relevant Validation Unit Officer.
