Student Registration

Students on validated schemes must be registered with the University of Wales through a registration transfer - a list of students, and relevant scheme and personal information, on an Excel spreadsheet.

Among the data collected will be information about qualification on entry, disability and gender.

The Instructions for Student Registration| tell you how and when to prepare and upload an accurate registration transfer.  

New collaborative centres must supply the University with a list of staff| who need access to secure areas of the University of Wales website in order to upload the transfer.  Existing collaborative centres can manage their own staff list and add new staff members.

Collaborative centres must provide this transfer no later than 30 days following the start of the course to ensure that students have prompt confirmation of their registration and access to the University's online library.

Please note that students seeking registration on to a taught master's scheme must matriculate| with the University prior to the start of the course. Letters to students confirming successful matriculation or credit transfer do not in themselves indicate registration with the University.
