External Examiner Nominations

Nominations for external examiners for research degrees should sent to the University  at least 3 months before the expected submission date of the thesis.

Collaborative Centres are required to complete the Research Degree External Examiner Nomination Form| and provide a full CV for the proposed examiner. Please refer to Section 8.3 of the Code of Practice for MPhil/PhD Degrees| for further details.

Nominations for external examiners for the Part One of Professional Doctorates (Doctoral Degrees by Examination and Thesis) should continue to use the External Examiner Nomination Form| until further notice.
