Extensions to University Time Limits

The University’s Research Degrees Board may consider cases which fall outside of the University’s Research Degree Regulations, Procedures and Protocols.

Students registered for research degrees of the University (MPhil/PhD, DclinPsy, DBA) seeking an extension to the maximum time limit may have their case presented to the University, by the collaborative centre, using a Research Special Cases Request Form|. Supporting documentation must be attached.

Please note that, ordinarily, applications for extension requests should be submitted prior to the expiry of the original date for the thesis to be submitted for examination.
