Established by the University of Wales| in 2008, the Global Academy stimulates innovation in Wales’ private sector through increased collaboration with some of the most prestigious Universities in Wales and around the globe.

Our flagship initiative, the Prince of Wales Innovation Scholarships, launched in 2009 with support from HRH The Prince of Wales, the Welsh European Funding Office| and our university partners across Wales.

In 2011 with the help of NESTA| (National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts) we have established the Institute for Innovation Studies, and will soon launch our latest initiative – the Visiting Innovators Programme (VIP).
