CONFERENCES

An international conference organized by the University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies to mark the tercentenary of the death of Edward Lhuyd|  was held in Aberystwyth between 30 June and 3 July 2009.

An international conference to celebrate the Centre’s 20th anniversary entitled ‘Milestones’|  was held in Aberystwyth 28 June–2 July 2005.

Fora

The University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh & Celtic Studies holds regular fora or one-day mini-conferences. Usually one forum is held for each current project every year.

SEMINARS

The University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh & Celtic Studies arranges two series of seminars (often papers on work-in-progress) annually, which are usually held in the Seminar Room at the Centre at 5:00pm on alternate Thursdays during the Easter and Autumn terms. Most papers last about 50 minutes, with some 20 minutes for questions at the end. A warm welcome is extended to all.
