Centre for Research into Academic Equivalency - University of Wales
The University of Wales has identified equivalency assurance as a key component of its work on the standards of awards in higher education. To this end, it has founded the Centre for Research into Academic Equivalency - University of Wales. The broad purpose of an equivalency assurance exercise is to look at current systems in place to ensure the equivalency of standards of awards which share the same title or are within cognate subject areas, no matter where they are taught.
